How Counselling Helps

Once I have gained an understanding of you and what may help, I integrate models of therapy (perhaps the Person Centred model, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Transactional Analysis and others) to find a way of working that is comfortable and appropriately challenging. I aim to encourage a trusting relationship where you will feel safe enough to explore problems/feelings and express thoughts openly and honestly without fear of criticism or judgement.
